Make it Monday #223 ~ Hello Lovely!

Hello my sweet bloggy friends! Have you seen this week's Papertrey Ink Make It Monday video? It's a cute technique by Dawn McVey called camouflaged pocket inserts. I thought I would give it a go and this is what I came up with.

When I pulled out my Library Pocket die I had already cut one from this argyle paper at some point in time, so I rolled with it!! I used Turning a New Leaf stamps and dies along with Beautiful Blooms II. My pocket insert was made from the Spiral Notebook die. I did have to trim it down just a little so it and the foam tape would fit in the pocket.

Some embossed polka dots along with buttons and twine helped to pull my design together. Hope you like it! Thanks for visiting ~ Lisa

Absolutely adorable, Lisa. Love your stamp, die and color choices. I watched that video yesterday and was wondering if it would work with the library card die--and now i see that not only does it work, but it works perfectly. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
