Hello

The Flower Challenge is looking for dies on our cards this month. So yeah, I might have a few of those! I thought it was a good time to layer up the fabulous Honey Bee cone flower once again.

After die cutting the layers, I did a little ink blending on them. I had a tiny snippet of PP that was just the right color for the center. Lucky me, the leaves were already cut from a previous project. I popped the big bloom onto a lattice panel (WF) that I had added a soft touch of woodgrain stamping to. Then I topped it off with a sentiment from The Stamp Market.

We're finally headed for cooler days. The humid 90's are no fun, 75 is more to my liking! Hope your weather is treating you right today! Thanks for spending a bit of your day with me, friends!

I love that coneflower die (Haven't used mine in a while) and the colors you used for it, Lisa. That center is spot on with the PP and the lattice with the wood design is fabulour.

How gorgeous Lisa! That's one of my favorite dies, and favorite flowers as well, and I love how your ink blending came out. What a great idea to stamp wood grain on the lattice, it's a lovely subtle touch. Thanks for sharing with us at The Flower Challenge!
