Just Us Girls #818

Hello friends! We have a new challenge up on the Just Us Girls blog. Ina is hosting and she has picked the SPOTLIGHT TECHNIQUE for you. The team has some amazing inspiration on the blog!

I'm taking this week off. We've been so very busy purging, packing and selling items from my parent's house for several weeks now. Tomorrow, they make the move to Assisted Living. It's a big adjustment for them and an emotional time for all of us as we go through their things and all of the memories they bring. Thankfully they can take their own furniture and special things with them to make their new space feel like home. Mom has macular degeneration, so she's depending on me to get it decorated the way she likes it. I look forward to helping her!

Please excuse me as I take a break from commenting as well. All of this work has taken a toll on my hands & wrists.

Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to check out what the team and our guest designer, Rosemary Dennis have to share. They'll knock your socks off!

Just Us Girls #817 ~ Easter Blessings

Hey there, it's time for another Just Us Girls challenge. This is DIE WEEK and Sue has picked Easter/Spring for you. We also have a new guest designer for the month of April. Welcome to the super sweet Rosemary Dennis

Busy busy is my name lately, so I went with a CAS card today. I used two dies. Lets take a look...

I know I use this IO egg every year, but it's just too cute not too. I mean just look at those sweet blooms and that polka dot ribbon! My pretty little PPP tag die frames it perfectly. I popped it onto a gingham panel cut with a Spellbinders Hemstitch die. A simple sentiment and it was good to go!

I think I'll link this up over at Inkspirational. They're looking for CAS cards with the optional twist of E as in Easter, Egg and hey... how about Elton!!

Wishing you all a blessed Easter!

hope this makes you smile

I've been a busy bee and haven't had much crafting time. I actually made this card weeks ago and never posted it. It fits in with this week's challenge over at The Paper Players. Take a look...

I used some fun layered flower dies and stamps from The Stamp Market. The flowers were cut from both cardstock and patterned paper from my stash. A simple embossed background was all it needed. This works for the diagonal line: die cut, flowers and layers.

There you go, I hope it makes you smile.
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit!

Just Us Girls #816

Hey there! I'm hosting STENCIL WEEK at Just Us Girls. Anything goes, my friends, you just pick a stencil and get crafty!

I picked up a fun Dotted Lines stencil set from PTI not long ago. You know me and polka dots! I used Harvest Gold, Pale Peony and Ocean Tides inks to create my stenciled background. I die cut the panel with a MFT Wonky Rectangles die, then popped it onto the card base. My fave little birthday bunny was added along with a sentiment; both from Colorado Craft Company.

The team has loads of inspiration for you and we do hope you'll join us this week!
