Just Us Girls #847 ~ Give Thanks

I started with a pretty Mama Elephant cover plate. Isn't this a warm and cozy plaid? It's from Memory Box. That sweet plump pumpkin is by The Stamp Market. I love it's shape, little stem and the tendrils. I couldn't resist cutting it from polka dot paper! A wee sentiment by DeNami Design was stamped then punched with a Martha Stewart punch I've had for an eternity. This says fall to me and I'm pleased with the way it turned out!

Just Us Girls #846 ~ Fall

 

It's STENCIL WEEK at Just Us Girls! And it's anything goes too. That's an easy one! It's also the final challenge for our guest designer, Carrie. What a treat it was having her with us this past month! 

Here's a look at what I have to share.

I pulled out a STAMPlorations mini stencil. The stencil itself is cut in the shape of a tag. I flipped it horizontally on my card base. If you look closely you can see the curve of the design on the top edge. This strip of MB patterned paper was already cut with a Poppystamps Nordic Border die. I added the pretty Pinkfresh Studio leaves in a coordinating color along with a PTI sentiment.

Alrighty, you know the drill. Leaf through those stencils, pick out anything you want and come play along!

Just Us Girls #845 ~ BOO

I took advantage of Carol's Mood Board for this week's Just Us Girl's challenge to make a cute little card for our Sweet P! I went pretty literal with the elements I used. Take a look...

I cut an opening in the card base with a MFT Stitched Square die. Then I adhered a small knit embossed square, PPP leaf and little Poppystamps ghost to the inside of the card. The stamped and punched letters are popped up with foam dots.

Here's a peek at the inside. 

I think my best girl will enjoy this and I hope you did!

Just Us Girls #844 ~ Doing My Happy Dance

It's WORD WEEK at Just Us Girls and Carol Mc is challenging us to create MOVE cards! These are some guidelines she's given us.

**Move means any of the following or more: Interactive, fun fold, a rocker card, pop-up, bridge card, shaker, wobbler, spinner, a tab to pull something, etc. **

I went with something that moves ~ a ballerina and I put her on a wobbler! A fave EF for the background with some added rhinestones for pizazz. The darling ballerina and sentiment are an oldie but goodie set from CASual Fridays. 

Speaking of moving... I finally got rid of the full arm cast and am down to a smaller forearm one! I can move my elbow! Still a long road, but so much easier to deal with now.
