Enjoy the Beauty of the Season

Hello there! It's been a minute and my mojo has been seriously lacking. What a year this has been. We started with my dad's health issues and are finishing with Covid issue. I mentioned here earlier that our son tested positive just after Thanksgiving. Two days later our daughter-in-law tested positive and yes... three days later Sweet P. Thankfully her symptoms are like a mild cold, just a bit stuffy. Not so much for the other two! Thankfully we've been testing negative. Phew, I sure hope 2026 treats us better!

On a happier note, check out this little cutie I whipped up for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I saw Jaydee's new challenge at The Paper Players this morning and it fits in there too. So, here we go!

A white embossed background topped with Pinkfresh Winterberries and a Pretty Pink Posh reindeer and tag. I used the TTT middle line of White, Free and Square. The tag and gift are square!  I think this little gift bearing cutie will be right at home in The Paper Players gallery too

That's it from me today.
I hope you're enjoying a relaxing Sunday... we are!

Christmas Wishes!

Hello friends! I hope those who celebrated enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving. We had a nice cozy dinner with our son, daughter-in-law, Sweet P and my parents. Then the bad news... Joe came down with Covid the following day! So far everyone else is good, but our boy is feeling rough.  Taking it one day at a time and keeping everyone in our prayers.

Since we stayed put this weekend, I do have a cute little card to share. This one fits in over at Time Out Challenges. I picked embossing and movie. I would say this represents two; The Santa Claus or Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

I used another of those cute Santas from Lasting Impressions along with some of their gray gingham paper cut with an old SB label die. I popped them onto a polka dot embossed panel and dressed it up with glittery gold holly leaves (PTI) adorned with rhinestones. I added a simple Memory Box Tab sentiment and it was good to go!

Stay healthy, my friends... tis the season.

SALES!

Just Us Girls #803

It's our final challenge of the year at Just Us Girls! The team will be taking the month of December off. New challenges will begin again on Thursday January 1st. I would like to send out a big thank you to Leslie Miller for being our guest designer this past month. It's been a real treat having you with us, Leslie!

Okay, it's stencil week... anything goes, have fun!

My card base was stenciled with pink snowflakes... wouldn't that be a delightful sight! Next came a strip of MB plaid paper topped with some vellum scallops and a little strip of silver metallic paper. I topped it off with an arched sentiment from The Greetery. Before adhering the Merry Christmas portion of the sentiment, I stenciled on a couple more snowflakes using the same ink, just going a tad darker this time.

It's your turn now, my friends. You don't have to make a Christmas card, unless you need more like I do! Just pick a stencil and come play along!

Thanks!

Brace yourselves... this one might be a little busy. Well, the hubs thinks so! Maybe it's my Robitussin buzz! But you know, I think I kind of like it. He didn't care for the patterned poinsettias, but I think they're fun! I'll let you all be the judge. I put this one together for The Flower Challenge using The Color Hues Challenge colors of teal and silver.

I couldn't let the season go by without using my favorite Waffle Flower poinsettias. I cut them from some old October Afternoon paper, layered each one up then added silver rhinestones to their centers. I used pretty silver cardstock from The Stamp Market for my Altenew sentiment as well as the little Simply Graphic pine sprigs. A postal frame borders the embossed pine in the background.

Off this goes to both galleries.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the get well wishes.
Bronchitis just doesn't know when to give up!
