Just Tagging Along!

Well hi there! How are you doing with your Christmas preparations? I've finished and mailed all of my cards. Right now I'm just tagging along so to speak (hehe), making some last minute tags for some last minute gifts!

This one was made using one of the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Photo Frames. Since it's a die cut, I'll be linking up at Simon Says Stamp! I filled the frame with some cute DeNami Design penguins and a few snowflakes. I gave the igloo a Stickles snowy rooftop along with the santa hats. Those glittery items qualify this tag for the final Virginia's View Challenge.

I'm off and running again today.
Hopefully things won't be quite as crazy out there being a weekday morning.
I gave up on Saturday and came home!!
Take care ~Lisa

Wishing You Peace, Love & Joy!

Hi there! Have you seen Jen's terrific sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches? I knew I had to find time to play along...and I did! I'll also be entering this one at Virginia's View Challenge. She's decided to close her challenge and I wanted to play along to honor her and all of the work she put into running her own challenge. She's such a sweetheart and has done an amazing job!

I used a snippet of Christmas paper given to me by my super duper sweet blogging friend Michele! It's paired with glittery red paper and a pair of Bells by Papertrey Ink. The glittery banner was die cut with my Pretty Pnk Posh Stitched Banner Duo. I decided to add the cream and gold twine after everything was done!! I carefully pulled the bow up so I could wrap the twine then put things back together. I'm glad I did this step, it helped tie in the gold embossed sentiment.

There you go! Hope I did Jen's sketch and Michele's paper justice!! Have you have a great day ~Lisa

The Paper Players #252 ~ A Little Message!

Are you enjoying your weekend? We had a family get together at my parent's house to celebrate the 4th yesterday. Always so much fun when my big brother comes to town! We have a new challenge up at the Paper Players today. This is theme week and Ann has picked {The Great Outdoors}!!

I brought out my inner child with this little scene ~hee!! First up was the stenciled sun followed by some light ink blending for the sky and grass. The tree (Stamps by Judith) came next followed by the adorable tire swing (Impression Obsession). I added hits of green with a Copic marker for the leaves then stamped the little dots (Stamps by Judith). Finally I tucked in my sentiment (DeNami Design) before adding this to the light aqua card base.

I'm entering this at Virginia's View Challenge #16 since it's all stamped. Hope the stenciled sun is okay!!

And there you have it!! Hope you have time to play along this week. This is a great theme with so many options. Have a splendid day ~Lisa

PP #241 & VV #14 ~ Life is Beautiful!

Hey, how are you? Spring is in full swing for us with typical Ohio weather. A couple of beautiful 70 degree days followed by windy weather that took us down to the mid 40's!! But those warm days did help more pretty blooms to pop and the trees to fill in a little. It inspired me to play along with the Paper Players CAS and watercoloring challenge. So I set out layering up a card that I could also enter at Virginia's View.

This one is a feminine mini card using PTI's Meadow Greens. I began with a small watercolored panel made with ink and markers. I topped it with the embossed queen anne's lace blooms. For extra frilliness, I die cut a green vellum panel and the card base with a Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 2 die. A little sprinkling of PPP 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins top it off without too much fussiness.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today ~Lisa

Guest Designing at Virginia's View!

Hey there bloggy friends! Pretty Pink Posh has teamed up with Virginia as the sponsor for her Virginia's View challenge #12: Shaker Cards. Members of the PPP design team are guest designing to give you a little shaker inspiration!

Even though my granddaughter is just shy of three months old, I couldn't let her very first Valentine's Day go by without making her something extra sweet. My piglet stamp seemed like a good starting point, and the rest is shaker fun!

Head over to Virginia's View to check it out!
Thanks for stopping by ~Lisa

Hello!

Hey there bloggy friends! I have a sunny card to share today. I've used this week's Retro Sketch and Moxie Fab World's "Wonderful Words Challenge".  Then I saw Simon Say Stamp: Let's Be Clear challenge. And finally I'm playing along for the first time with Virginia's View Challenge ~ I know, late to the parade again! I'm really happy with the way this turned out and I hope you enjoy it too!

My SUPER sweet blogging friend Larissa Heskett sent me this beautiful MB label die which I promptly fell in love with!! Thanks again Larissa! I die cut a harvest gold panel then went to work stamping my PTI simple sunflowers. Next I die cut my hello (ME) sentiment using Iridescent Chocolate paper from DeNami Design and attached it to the opening of this panel. This was followed by all of the necessary layers to make my shaker. I've used a collection of PPP sequins ~ 6mm flat Espresso, 6mm cupped Marigold and 6mm cupped Mossy Green. Before adding the shaker to a white card base, I tied on this adorable chocolate polka dot ribbon sent to me by my SWEET blogging friend Greta! Thanks again Greta, love it!

I would like to give a BIG WARM WELCOME to my newest followers. I'm so happy you are joining me on this blogging journey of mine! Thanks so much for popping in today friends, I appreciate you!~Lisa
