There's Snow One Like You

 

December already? It rolled into our neck of the woods at a brisk 22 degrees this morning... brrr! How about a frosty little card for the occasion. Once again from the batch of cards I had ready to go. This one is for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I used the line Snow, Animal & Frame

 

This cute little snow globe is from MFT. I filled it with some snowy patterned paper, confetti and a penguin from PPP. The base of the globe was stamped with a wood grain image (POD). I think the MFT Wonky Rectangles framed it out perfectly! A few more frosty flakes and punny sentiment (PPP) were added before popping everything onto a swirly panel (Lil' Inkers - sadly closed and no longer available). 

 

So I have a new accessory for the month of December. Attractive, isn't it! Maybe I'll stick a Christmas bow on it LOL! Physical therapy started yesterday. It's going to be a bit of a slow go and a long haul. I still have a lot of swelling and bruising so small minimal movements this month.

12 Kits of Occasions, a specail blog hop

Hello and welcome. As you may know, The 12 Kits of Occasions lost a member of the design team recently. Sharron Gregory passed away peacefully at home on March 30th. Design team members, past and present, are joining together today for a blog hop in honor of our sweet friend.

My memory of Sharron comes from the 4th birthday card I had made for my granddaughter and shared on my blog. I mentioned we would be giving her a Calico Critters doll house, car and Sweet Pea bunny family. Sharron commented that she used to buy her granddaughter Calico Critters and so enjoyed shopping for her and all of the cute characters. From then on, every time I looked into the teepee at those toys, I thought of Sharron.

When my little Sweet P plays with her set (it's at our house) she has a mommy, daddy, gramma, papa and Sweet P bunny. There's one extra bunny and she always asks me who it should be. It's usually a pre-school friend or someone we know. When this pandemic is over and Sweet P can come to gramma's house again, I think that bunny will have a new and permanent name... Sharron ♥

When the news weighs you down... make a cute bunny card. Here ya go!

This little lady is of the soft gray variety and was blessed with the sweetest floral ears!  She's popping up through some IO die cut grass to take a peek at the lilac clouds (MFT). I added some bright pink buttons to bring the color out in the floral paper. Just the right pop, don'tcha think?

She'll be hoping over to The Paper Players gallery to say hi. They have a tic-tac-toe challenge this week. I think she fits the pink, spring, patterned paper line, how about you?
