Sparkle and Shine Challenge

Hi friends! Ready to get your sparkle on? Have you seen the news about a new challenge called Sparkle and Shine? This one is all about using sequins on your projects. And who better to be their sponsor than the queen of sequins herself, Paulina of Pretty Pink Posh!

Today the PPP design team is joining the Sparkle and Shine Challenge to kick things off. This is the inspiration photo for their debut challenge...put your thinking caps on!!

I've recreated the green leaves using chalk and the negative of a heart punch. My DeNami Design sentiment was stamped and embossed with Liquid Platinum embossing powder. This vellum panel was added to a white card base with a length of Scor Tape across the top and a glue pen under the sentiment. The placement looks a bit off on the left side. But I assure you it's not! I think it's because the vellum isn't glued down on the corners and that one is lifted a bit. This beautiful Celery Chevron Twill Ribbon is available in the PPP store.

And now for the light ring in the center of those leaves. I die cut some circles to make a small shaker element. It's filled with Silver Shimmer Seed Beads, 6mm Marshmallow Sequins and 4mm Lime Sorbet Sequins. I added a little trio of stamped (Stamps by Judith) embossed sprigs in there too.

I'll be playing along at Curtain Call this week too!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Don't forget to visit the Sparkle and Shine Challenge blog as well as my PPP teamies! ~Lisa
