MJM #210 & CR84FN #40 ~ Angels Among Us!
I was inspired to create this card for the Mojo Monday and CR84FN challenges based on what I have witnessed in our blogging community as of late. There has been a great outpouring of prayer, love, encouragement, and generosity . I believe there are Angels among us helping to guide us through the good and bad of life. We were all created out of love...to love and to be loved. Blessings to each and every one of you ~Lisa
Polka dot paper: Canvas Corp., stripe paper: Jillibean Soup, large tags: Cosmo Cricket, ticket: Jenni Bowlin, Angel stamp & die, star stamp & die, medium scalloped edge die: all from Papertrey Ink.

MJM209 ~ Boo to You!
Just dropping in for a quick post today...the grocery store awaits! I have an easy peasy card for the Mojo Monday challenge. Here's the sketch...
And here's my card...
I have this problem of thinking I have to follow a sketch exactly!!! You know a bow for a bow, a big scalloped circle for a...well you get the picture! But this time I threw caution to the wind! I added this bunch of fluttery creepy bats (cloud9 designs) in place of the bow and my big ol spider web button for the circle portion of the sketch. All of the paper is from MME: Mischievous and the alphabet letters are from Limited Edition. That's about it, thanks for stopping by...gotta run! ~ Lisa

MOJO204 & CR84FN36 ~ A challenging day for challenge cards!
What a day this has been...sheesh!!! First my sweet little Max is still under the weather. My fury guy has been snoozing all day, but moving from place to place to do so. He keeps hearing something and tries to move away from it. Problem is...it's his own little tummy making quite the array of noises! Poor little baby. Nothing icky going on (if you know what I mean!); just an odd tummy issue. Then while working on my challenge cards I got a whopper of a paper cut on my index finger...OUCH! Let's just say it makes tying a tiny little button string bow interesting! Time for dinner ~ the rain stopped and the sun came to say a big bright hello...so I put the charcoal in the grill & lit it. Five minutes later the sun said goodbye, ten minutes later the sprinkles were back and within a half an hour my charcoal was a no go! Uuuugh! Is it tomorrow yet????? So with a delightful day like this I made the executive decision to roll two challenges into one card; and you know what...I think it worked!
I used the wonderful sketch (that I flipped) from Mojo Monday #204 and the most delightful colors from CR84FN color challenge #36 ( yellow, kraft & neutral). The DPs are from Authentique: Blissful, key & lock are by Renaissance Art Stamps and the corner stamp is Inkadinkado. And there you have it my challenge card made during a very challenging day!!!
Thanks for stopping by; hope I didn't depress you all too much LOL!!! ~ Lisa

MOJO203 !
Hello blogging friends..and welcome to my newest followers! Thanks for being a part of my stamping/blogging journey!!! Today's post is for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge #203.
I started started by choosing a variety of papers from My Minds Eye: Fine and Dandy 6x6 pad. I layered these on a piece of cardstock following the sketch. The scallop section is a PTI: medium scallop die. Next I cut a 2" scalloped circle with my slice and inked the edges with tangerine chalk ink. I punched holes in each scallop for some added interest. My lion from Judith is stamped with sepia ink and colored with markers. A touch of glitter pen on his mane and tail for a bit of glitz. I stamped the little leafy vine by Hero Arts in tangerine and attached the lion with foam tape. Some brown gingham ribbon, a star brad and a sprinkling of gems along with a small tag (star is Stampin Up) finishes things off. I adhered this panel to a speckled golden yellow card stock.
Now off to enjoy this lovely day on a walk with my sweet little Max...no more scorching 90's...just splendid upper 70's!!! ~ Lisa

MOJO202! "Lucky Bear"
Hello...I have a card today for the Mojo Monday 202 challenge!
I've used some snippets of my absolute favorite paper ever (from My Minds Eye: tres jolie - bonjour) on this card! This was one of those that I loved the color and have had forever because it was just too pretty to cut! I hear all of you laughing out there...you know how we paper girls are!!! I've also used my very first rubber stamp...this sweet little bear from PSX. I bought this eons ago before I even knew what to do with a rubber stamp; just because it was cute! Oh how crafty I was trying acrylic paint and who knows what else only to have a blobby mess...oh my gosh I feel sooooo silly now!
But you see; the reasoning behind buying it was purely sentimental. It caught my eye and tugged on my heartstrings because it reminded me of my son's teddy bear I had given him when he was 4 ~"Lucky Bear". A new order was delivered to the florist where I worked and this sweet little bear with his little round tummy was among the items in the box. I knew my baby boy would love him. So when I picked him up from pre-school; I presented him with his new buddy. His sparkly blue eyes lit up as he wrapped his tiny arms around this teddy bear and proclaimed "mommy let's call him Lucky Bear because I'm lucky you brought him to live with me!" I know, I know...ahhhhh!!!!!
So let me introduce you to our sweet little Lucky Bear...who has been with us all these years!!! ~Lisa

MOJO 201 !
Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm back with a post today for the Mojo Monday 201: round or square challenge.
As you can see I went with the square pattern and I'm thrilled with the way it turned out. All of the decorative paper is from my BasicGrey: Out of Print 6x6 pad (love this one!!!). The pretty yellow blossom "back" is from Prima with a flower & brad from my stash added to the center. The notebook paper and tiny house die cuts are PTI.
I wasn't happy with the corners of my zig zag stitching...so I covered them with a stamped & fussy cut corner from Inkadinkado. I honestly think my sewing machine needs a tune up. Or better yet...perhaps Santa will bring me a new one (hint, hint, wink, wink to my hubby if you're reading :) !!!) The wee sentiment is by Savvy stamps and the pretty face is Hampton Arts. My son chose this special botanical stamp while peeking over my shoulder one day at a stamp catalog I was browsing. He pointed to it and said " I like that one mom...you should get it." He was working a summer job with the parks and was very much into all things nature! Love my boy!!! :)
So there you have it my lovely visitors...my square card. ~ Lisa

Mojo198 ! & The Play Date Cafe !
Well she doesn't have on an "itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini"...but...she's teeny weeny and she's wearing polka dots!!!
This darling stamp is from Ann-ticipations and I just love, love, love her to pieces!!! All of the patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye: Fine and Dandy/True Blue 6x6 paper pad. The sweet crystals are from the coordinating bling packet (fabulous shade of blue). The butterfly is a PTI die cut from their harvest gold felt. The stitched zig-zag stamp is Hero Arts and the swirly frame is from ??? Hate to admit it, but I have no idea! It's an acrylic stamp I got from a bargain bin for $1.99 eeeeons ago - pretty cute huh :)
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have time to check out the other cards at Mojo Monday and The Play Date Cafe!!! ~ Lisa
