Hello!

Hello! Have you seen the inspiration photo for Inspired By All the LittleThings? It's filled with lots of prettiness, so I just had to play along!

I was inspired by the pretty golden hello, the little blue bird, the pink flowers and those fancy angel wings. I dry embossed my wings (PTI) using a doily folder. All of those sweet flowers are by PPP. I thought the card needed a little more dressing up. Do you see that fancy wooden thingamajig right under the table top? I added something along those lines to my wings along with some buttons for good measure!

That's it from me tonight. Thanks for taking a peek!

Love!

Hey there! Sharing a little love today with my card for the Inspired By All the Little Things challenge.

I was indeed inspired by all of those lovely little things in this photo! The polka dots (of course!), the bicycle decorated with lots of love and that little bit of greenery. This bicycle stamp, an oldie but a goodie by PSX, was one of my first purchases! I layered it up with PTI hearts and some love by IO. Those tiny sprigs are from a PPP holiday set and the impression plate is getting it's first run today!

Thanks so much for stopping by. It's always good to hear from you!

Faith, Hope, Love

Hi there! Did you know that Inspired by All The Little Things is celebrating their 50th challenge? They have a pretty inspiration photo that I just couldn't pass up. I had an idea pop into my head using some leftover items from the Feb. 2016 12 Kits of Occasions kits. Take a look!

This nifty little frame was perfect for what I had in mind. It's backed with polka dot vellum to mimc the twinkle lights in the photo. If you look closely, you can spy wooden candlesticks and cake plates. A PPP die cut strip of woodgrain paper is my nod to that. Then of course their are the lovely apricot flowers and the garland of greenery framing everything. My bloom is watercolored and my garland was created with an IO stamp. I've had this Hero Arts sentiment forever and love the way it fits above the frame. Hope you like my card!

I think the bloom, greenery and woodgrain work well with this week's City Crafter Challenge blog too.

Have a beautiful day!

Guesting at Inspired by All the Little Things!

Hello and welcome! I'm absolutely tickled pink to be guesting with the fabulous Inspired By All the Little Things design team today! My sweet friend Tracey McNeely invited me and I dove right in after seeing the challenge graphic!

I was most definitely inspired by all the little things in this photo! Let me break it down for you...

The layout for my design sticks pretty close to the inspiration photo. The gold circle (Pretty Pink Posh: Scallop Circle Die) was my jumping off point. To me, it represents the tea in the cup. The snippets of paper doily I added mimic the saucer. I knew right away I would be using images from my Sweet Pea Stamp Set (Precious Remembrance Shop) and I LOVE the way they look! The tiny leafy sprigs are from the PPP Holiday Pals Stamp Set. I think it compliments my little sweet pea flowers nicely! I did use a lighter green. A darker one seemed too harsh with the delicate elements on the card.

I'm so happy you could spend a bit of your day with me! Be sure to check out what the DT from Inspired by All the Little Things has to share. Thanks so much to Tracey, Lesley, and the Inspired by All the Little Things Design Team for having me this week! ~Lisa
