CR84FN #52 & FMS #31 ~ Just a Note!

Welcome! I hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing weekend. Here's an example of an Ohio spring. My husband was off Friday (yay!!!) so we scooped up Max and took the boat to the lake. It was a beautiful and warm 77 ~ a picnic lunch while bobbing about, birds chirping, ducks and geese frolicking in the water, shorts and a tank top. Skip ahead to Saturday and Sunday ~ rainy cold and walking Max in my winter coat and gloves ~ HA!!! Talk about extremes...sheesh. Anyway it's been a wonderful weekend non the less. And today I have a card to share that I'm entering into the CR84FN and Freshly Made Sketches challenges. Colors and layout set up for my lazy Sunday self...woohoo!

I started with a swiss dot tan cardstock then layered on pretty papers from the MME: Madison Ave collection. An EK Success border punch and BasicGrey stamps were used on the left tan/cream panel. I tied a button into my ivory ribbon with twine then added a PTI tiny tag stamped with a sentiment and a couple of wee flourishes. I added a few more buttons and fabric daisies for interest. My pretty label is from My Favorite Things: die cut then stamped with this lovely crown by The Moon Rose. I love the way this card turned out...sweet, dreamy and feminine.

Thanks for stopping by friends ~Lisa

Sounds like spring in Ontario, pretty much the same as the wather here this weekend. Gorgeous card Lisa, I adore that crown and your patterned papers too. Oh and I can't forget the music sheet background too.

Sounds like a wonderful Friday and such a change for the rest of the weekend. Its kinda like our weather, almost 100 from Friday through Sunday , then woke up to wet drizzly day today.
Your card is beautiful! I love the label as well, every detail on your card is gorgeous the pearls the side paper and the way you put your sweet bow together. I seem to be using a tiny tag on all my cards, love it!

I'm back!!! Finally get to let you know how wonderful your cards are!!! Absolutely love all the ones you have made while I've been gone; the little glittered parachuting chickies are just adorable. And speaking of adore--your cQc card is SO beautiful! Marvelous use of the challenge colors, and you cleverly included lots of polka dots! And, wow! This card is gorgeous! You did it in my favorite colors (pink and green) and the combination of patterns and die cut shapes is so perfect! Definitely a feminine look--love the added pearls and daisies!

I live in New England and that describes my weather too. Gorgeous one day and "better turn the heat back on" the next! At least all that crazy weather hasn't stifled your creativity! I love the gorgeous DSP on your card. The labels and music notes go so well together. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!

Hi, Lisa! This is absolutely gorgeous! LOVE the deeper pink with light pink highlights! :) The pearls look perfect on the crown, too! Kansas always has crazy weather. It's been colder this month than it was in December! ;) {{{HUGS}}}
