DeNami ~ Fresh Florals Blog Hop!

Hey there! DeNami Design is having a fresh florals blog hop today, won't you join us! There are two gift certificates being awarded by the simple task of commenting! Doesn't get much easier than that and you get to see a parade of pretty flowers today! All of the deatil will be at the end of my post.

Now let's get the ball rolling here! You should be arriving from the fabulous Paulina Nakamura's blog where without a doubt, you had your socks knocked off!!! But if you just popped in here for a visit and would like to start the hop from the beginning, head over to the DeNami blog for the complete list! Here's my contribution to today's hop.

One of my favorite stamps that DeNami carries is the rosebud trio! So sweet and whimsical. I stamped the rosebuds across my ivory panel three times. Then I stamped it again on the fence die cut and once again on the fence slats. I used many layers of colored pencils and markers to bring a deep rich orange to the roses. Now many of you probably know that I'm not a fan of orange...but this card has won me over!!! I made it with my sister-in-law in mind who happens to adore orange roses.

The new grass border and tiny decorative butterflies (another of my absolute FAVES!!!) complete my little flower garden. I couldn't resist adding a polka dot ribbon to the base of my garden and a simple sentiment to the top! And really, would it be a card from me with out a sprinkling of rhinestones ~ orange ones to boot!

I'm the final stop on the hop today. Thanks so much for joining us and have yourselves a delightful Sunday! ~Lisa

edit: For those interested in the fence die, it is by Papertrey Ink!

Ahhhhh, it always feels like all is right with the Universe when I finally get some time to sit down and check out my blogs and bask in all the fabulous crafty inspiration! ;-)

As you know, orange is by far not my favorite color, but you have used it to perfection here. Those little rose buds are adorable, and I love how you layered them across the fence, too. The ribbon is lovely, and the sentiment is fantastic. Beautiful job on this one. ;-)

Hello Lisa, I really like this card and am wondering what fence die did you use. I know it's to early for the contest, but that's okay. I'm come back tomorrow for that. Have a grand day. Blessings, Nita/Spokane WA
