The 12 Kits of Occasions!

Hello lovelies! My sweet blogging friend Cathy Weber has asked me to fill in for her for the remainder of the year at The 12 Kits of Occasions! I've long admired this blog, the concept and the teams of designers who have shared their works of art from a common kit. They are all given the same product to work with and they all come up with the most amazing cards! What a honor to be crafting alongside these talented ladies!!

This month's kit is all about Halloween. All supplies used can be found on the 12 Kits blog. If I add anything of my own, I'll highlight it for you. So, here we go.....

Is this paper and that thin sentiment die cut not the cutest!! Love those little goblins all lined up. I think this one will go to our little pumpkin Sweet P for her first Halloween! The tiny bow is a Mama Elephant die.

Next up is this spooky scene with oodles of ghosts floating about! I added yellow paper behind the windows on this nifty neighborhood die cut. They're also brushed with Wink of Stella.

I like this playful paper with the birds and owls all stacked up!! A strip of woodgrain paper and pretty My Favorite Things die cut leaves add to the woodsy theme. I added a thin little zig zag strip (Stitched Borders 1 die from Pretty Pink Posh) to the sentiment panel.

Those creepy crawly embossed spiders called for a simple card design. The cute little ghoul in popped up with foam dots. I added a few wraps of twine to give the feel of a web!

I have so many cute things left from this kit and I hope to share more before Halloween! Thanks so much for spending a little time with me today. Head over to the 12 Kits blog to see what my teammates have to share! ~Lisa

Oh Lisa! what an amazing job you did with the kit! I love the first one with the extra pop of blue from the panel you added in back, and the little blue bow too! and how you picked up the blue adding the border further down too. So smart to color the ghostie eyes too. Wondering why I didnt think of that - super cute. Fun cards! You did Cathy proud!

Your cards are all so wonderful. I love how you made the most of the kit. That first halloween card is so very perfect for your sweet P, who can be a little Pumpkin on Halloween. Love you idea of the ghost flowating over the haunted house, and his creepy yellow eyes are just perfect. Just a really fantastic collection of cards, and we are so lucky you were kind enough to join us this month and fill in for Cathy.

I'm so glad you were able to join us this month. LOVE what you've done with Jessica's kit! All the cards are fantastic! I adore the first design--perfect colors and such an adorable card. It's perfect for your 'little pumpkin'! You were so creative with the patterned papers. I really wanted to use the bird print but couldn't decide on a way--love yours!

Hey Lisa! So great to hear you are joining the 12 kits team for the rest of the year ... what a fun group : ) Love your cards, especially the skyline one where you added the yellow paper behind the die cut. It really balances out the large yellow moon on the top of the card. Great design choice there!

What a cool thing to be able to be a part of! You made so many knockout stunners! I especially loved that second one with the flying ghost (totally pinned it!). And the last one with the spiders...well you know just what to do with a special piece of paper like that. :D The sentiment totally cracked me up, too.

I'm finally back from my bloggy hiatus - sorry I haven't been by in a bit!

Lisa, you are amazing! I love them. ALL of them!!! I'm pretty tickled that I have a lot of unused supplies, so I can CASE these. I truly love them all, but your subway art card just sticks with me. I'm so thrilled to have you join us. (I've been hoping for that for months!)

Lisa, wow! I love how you had the ghost hold the sentiment tag...how clever! You're right about the last card showcasing the spiders, great job! I love the added leaves on the subway sentiment card. And the sequins look like they are blowing in the wind on the first card and it looks amazing!
