Please excuse me while I blow the dust off this blog and sweep out the cobwebs! We are in the midst of some remodeling projects. I've been doing the leg work bringing home flooring and counter top samples, returning, trying again...you know the drill! Furniture is being moved to the basement, curtains, pictures, all the stuff is coming down. It's a process I tell ya!
We're removing hardwood, carpet and linoleum from the entire first floor making way for new Luxury Vinyl Planks. They look just like wood! Along with that we are having new counter tops installed in our kitchen. Goodbye ugly laminate, hello Quartz! All of the ceilings and walls will get a fresh coat of paint. The last installation will be a new front door and patio door. It's a process with lots of appointments, measurements and decisions. But it will all be worth it in the end.
Anyway...I do have a card up on the Precious Remembrance Shop blog today. I hope you have a minute to check it out! While you're there check out how you can receive free stamp storage with qualifying purchases. You can find that info here.
Have a great day!

Off to be impressed!!
My goodness, your remodeling sounds exhausting, but I'll bet it will be totally worth it in the end. Hope you'll post pictures.
Let me know when you're ready for visitors... or helpers!!!
=]
I sure hope you share the b4 and after I love seeing home improvements ☺
Ugh, remodeling is never fun but always worth it in the end!
Ah, Lisa, having been my own contractor on a whole-house remodel in 2007, I feel your pain (love your typo of "remolding" project! It felt like that sometimes!!), but also know the joy you will feel as you ENjoy it all when it's finished! You can't beat quartz and I just saw that vinyl flooring on one of the HGTV shows! They said it was hard to snap in place, but again, worth it! I wish you smooth going and reliable workmen throughout the process!! Hugs, Darnell
Oh what a huge project, but you're right--it'll be worth it in the end! We haven't done anything quite that big, but still a lot of mess! Off to check out your project!
Your card is adorable, Lisa - I love the minty green with the yellow and brown! Great sentiments, too. Thanks so much for the virtual hugs on my blog. :-) Good luck with the remodel - I hope everything goes well! I would love to see the before/after pics, as well.
As difficult as the process is, Lisa, I wish it was me. Our house needs new flooring badly and so does the cottage. I think the cottage will come first because it's smaller and easier for us to do ourselves. You'll love it in the end but it does disrupt daily life. I love your sweet little card.
Oh Lisa, I sure know what you mean about renos! They're always a challenge in the moment, but so worth it in the end. Hang in there!! Loving the way your reno sounds - we were fortunate that our new home had quartz countertops and I honestly haven't looked back since! Wishing you luck throughout the process and years of happiness in your new, updated space!
oh my you have been busy.. I can't wait to see pictures..
Wow! You have been a busy beaver! I'm sure it seems like a lot of work now but I bet you will love how everything looks in the end! And I love your card over at the PR blog. You are fearless when it comes to combining patterned papers! That is one terrific card!
Lisa such a pretty card and lovely sentiment! Left you some love over t here. Good luck with the remodel, such a big undertaking but it will be so so worth it in the end...when you share some photos!
I KNOW I am going to LOVE this!
Been through a few reno's myself, so know exactly how disruptive it can be to your life! The end results will be so worth it though!! Your card is wonderful Lisa! You have a style all your own that I just love! And I want to also thank you for all your wonderfully kind comments on my blog...they are so appreciated!! 😊
