Well hello there, long time no see! I've been a little under the weather since Christmas and have't had the mojo to craft. But I'm finally getting back into the swing of things. And hey...guess what!! I'm guesting with the fabulous design team at Fusion today! Yep, that's right, my long time blogging friend Jen Mitchell (I create) sent me an invitation to join her for their anniversary celebration! I decided to jump into the challenge with both feet and fuse the sketch with the inspiration photo.
When I saw the colors on the beautiful butterflies in the inspiration photo, I remembered this patterned paper (MME) I had. I used one of my favorite PPP dies to cut them out. If you look closely, you'll find a trio of vellum butterflies fluttering about too. And hey Michele, buttons...just for you!
Thanks ever so much for inviting me to join in the fun sweet Jen. Happy Anniversary Fusion!

Lisa!! Just when I think I couldn't possibly love your cards more, I end up realizing I'm totally wrong. This card is SO sweet and I just can't believe how much cuteness, texture, color and style you've added to a really clean and simple sketch. It inspires me every time! Thank you for sharing, it's just gorgeous! Glad to hear you're feeling better :)
Lisa what a pretty card, I have always love that tiny PPP die. Congratulations, Jen made a great choice!
This is a true Fusion, of all of my favorite things, Lisa! Your embossed doilies, that darling flutter-by paper [I think I still have a snippet of it!], and your signature PPP tag = celebration perfection!

Sorry you haven't been feeling well, Lisa. Your card is so pretty and delicate! This reminds me of a quilt.
So smart she invited you to join them, Lisa! What a great use of the sketch & photo with the gorgeous dry embossed doilies & wonderful butterfly paper--not to mention the vellum butterflies! Love this! So sorry you haven't been feeling well--hope you're over it now.
Lisa, your butterfly card is darling! Glad to see you're getting your craft mojo back too!
Always fun to be a Guestie :) -- Beautiful card - I like the doily background, it's fun.
FABULOUS card Lisa!! Had to take time to just look over every little detail and there are sooooo many great ones!! Loving the embossed doilies with the tiny butterflies in the center and really love the butterfly DSP that you die cut that tiny tag with! Every details works perfectly together on this lovely, lovely card! Glad to hear you're feeling better too...take care.
I could have sworn I had that same butterfly paper, Lisa, but when I checked it's smaller ones from Echo Park (8 years old) and I know I have some of that doily on wood paper too. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you have a wonderful way of mixing papers for a fabulous design.
I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well. But I'm glad you were feeling up to joining us at Fusion! And what a card you've created! I love that the embossed doilies are highlighting some wee embossed butterflies. And you've carried the theme perfectly with that pretty paper.
I'm so glad that you joined us at Fusion! <3

Yay for GDT! Great job creating the Fusion!
I love this card Lisa! Great combo of embossing and patterned papers!
I had problems recovering from Christmas too. We didn't do it big but I was half-sick and exhausted for a couple of weeks. AND the worst has been - NO MOJO - because some time in the craft room such have been the perfect remedy! Right?!!
I have that paper too - it's so soft and lovely. I love how the embossing coordinates with the paper - and makes such a perfect background for the butterflies!
