Just Us Girls #474 ~ Loving You Forever

Hey there! In case you missed my post last weekend, I'm guesting with the design team at Just Us Girls this month. I'm here today sharing this week's challenge with you and a card that I hope inspires you to play along!

WOOD...what to do, what to do? Pulling out some leftover goodies from one of my 12 Kits of Occasions kits worked for me. The pretty scallops on the top of the woodgrain embossed panel are courtesy of a PPP border die. The heart was cut from woodgrain PP then mounted on the card with fun foam. I cut a wooden arrow in half to look as though it's piercing through the heart, kinda cool huh!

I love the way this turned out, hope you do too.
Now get in a woodsy frame of mind and come play along!

The soft colors of the background and bird make the woodgrain heart the centerpiece of your beautiful card, Lisa. Adding that wood arrow was brilliant.

I haven't read the other comments, but did anyone besides me see a gorgeous bodice of a dress? That woodgrain coverplate has been a favorite for a while, but it sure does a background good with your lovely scalloped touch, Lisa! Once again, you know the perfect time to 'say when.'
Pierced my heart, I'll tell ya!
