Celebrate!

Hey there! I have a cute little card to share that I made for The Paper Players challenge. They're asking for summer sports cards. I think this little fella works, how about you?

Isn't he adorable? I picked him up at Hobby Lobby eons ago. It's a tiny Prima set containing him and his tackle box. He's colored with Copics, die cut with an old Spellbinders postage set and popped up with fun foam.

The more I looked at my card, the more I saw this week's Freshly Made Sketches sketch. With the focal panel popped up, the plaid border reminded me of the outer framing lines of the sketch. Especially the corners. Am I crazy or do you see it too??!!

Thanks for taking a peek!

This little fella definitely works for the water sports challenge, I would think. Your card is super cute and I see the sketch design too. Isn't it wonderful when you get double mileage out of your card designs. I'm in love with that plaid!
