Hello lovelies! I'm playing along at Freshly Made Sketches where they're celebrating their 400th sketch!
I hope they don't mind that I used an oval instead of a square. But to me, it worked better with the image I used. I dug into some old Authentique paper for that horizontal panel. Then I die cut (PPP) the opening to frame my sentiment (PRS). It's stamped on vellum. Next came the focal image (IO). And there you have it. My card for their milestone gallery!
To all of my US friends, have a safe and happy holiday weekend!

Oh I LOVE your take on this sketch!! That oval is perfect and I adore your use of that stamped image. Wonderful design.
Adore that sweet bird image! Your patterned paper is so lovely and the soft sentiment on vellum is perfect!
Of course we don't mind ovals! Any shape is A-OK in our books! I love your color combo (one of my faves) and the birds hanging out on the clothesline is such a fun image! So glad you joined our milestone challenge this week! :)
Those love birds are so sweet, Lisa! A darling way to celebrate at FMS!

I missed this one, but just saw it as an HM at FMS! No wonder--it's a beauty, Lisa! So clever to use the birds for that element of the sketch & I love the printed paper!

Oh so darling and cute! Love the clothes line with the pins and birdies...So nostalgic. It takes me back to my childhood and the fresh smell of laundry in the warm Spring breeze. Love the happy yellow pattern, too!
