I'm so happy to be an October guest designer with Darnell and her Design Team at the Twofer Card Challenge!
When I received the challenge graphic a wee bit of panic set in LOL!! I had to rack my brain to remember if I had anything that would work for {Sweets}. Phew...I had the perfect little cupcake!
I die cut some patterned paper with a PPP photo frame. It's mounted onto a PTI die cut panel and then adhered to an embossed card base. I like the way the embossed blooms mimic those in the PP. My little cupcake is from Stamps by Judith and the sentiment is Impression Obsession.
The cupcake is just the right size for the tiny red wagon. What little boy wouldn't enjoy 5 cupcakes...delivered by ants nonetheless!! This cute wavy sentiment is from an older SU set. And that determined little ant is by G-Rated Rubberstamps.
Now, what kind of sweets do you have in your stash? I can't wait to see the final calorie count in the gallery!!

Oh my, these are both cute, cute, CUTE! Little ants delivering cupcakes..... so clever and fun!
How adorable is that mini cupcake! To cute.
These are too sweet Lisa and I LOVE the ants pulling the cupcakes on a wagon! Sooo cute! I will tell you that before I read your post I saw the 5 and I gasped, think there is no way the Sweet Pea could be 5 already! So glad to learn it is your great nephew!
congrats on guest designing for two-fer, lisa! your sweet creations are absolutely perfect for the challenge!
Oh, my goodness, your cards are unbelievably cute!! I just love how you've made that itty bitty teeny tiny cupcake the undeniable focal point on your first card by framing and matting it so beautifully. Then the birthday card with the ants and wagons -- ack!! What a darling card for anyone, but especially for your 5 yr old great-nephew! I'm so glad you're guesting with us this month at Twofer!
OMG Lisa...two absolutely sweet, SWEET cards, but those ants carrying the wagons and cupcakes is about the cutest thing I've ever seen! Cute, CUTE cards and congrats on your GD spot...well deserved!! Hugs! :0)
Too adorable! Both are sweet, but your ants pulling cupcakes is superb! Love the "out of the box" use of the ants!
Lisa, so glad you are joining in as Guest Designer this month. YOur first card's layers are fabulous highlighting that cute lil cupcake and your sentiment made me chuckle. The ants delivering cupcakes is sure to be a delight to a little boy...heck it would delight me if they were this controlled and cute!
Lisa, I love your use of that teeny-tiny, itty-bitty cupcake as your "sweet!!" It takes center stage on your first card amid all those flowers. Your design really makes it stand out. And the birthday card for your great nephew is just plain fun! Ants pulling a wagon full of cupcake...how very clever! He's going to love this card for sure! Great design on this one, too. I'd like to add my thanks for being a guest designer this month at the Twofer Challenge. So very happy to see you in the spotlight. Bev
I have always adored that little cupcake of yours, Lisa!! So happy to see what the ants dragged in were just as cute!!!
Congratulations on your win, and GD spot! xx

OH my word!!! These are GENIUS!! I LOVE the adorable cupcake and how you used it. The sparkle and shine is fab on the first card with that patterned paper. The second card with the ants-GENIUS!! Just adorable design.
Pure cuteness...!!!
Wow - just love your clever cards with that bitty cupcake! Ants pulling cupcakes for a 5 yr old bday - genius!! Congrats on being a guest designer at Twofer!!
Lisa, congrats on the guest designer spot this month! I love, love, love your adorable cards girl...you're so creative!
That is about the cutest little cupcake EVER! I'm so glad you found that little treat for your wonderful cards, Lisa! Your layers of embossing, die cuts, and pp are perfect on your notecard. I can't get over those ants and how you've hooked up those wagons! It's so much fun, and your great-nephew will love it! Thank you for guest designing with us at the Twofer Card Challenge, Lisa!
You made wonderful use of that tiny cupcake, Lisa. I love it all dolled up to take center stage but the ants pulling them in wagons was brilliant and such a fun idea.
Here I am late, but I took a minute to recover from the craft retreat which was a blast! Thank you so much for being a Guest Designer at Twofer with your adorable cupcake designs! I love the flow from the embossed blossoms to the pretty pp and you've used the perfect sediment for your cupcake star of the card! It's your second card that really stole my heart, however! I think you were so clever to fit that sweet cupcake in the ants' wagons and I love the giant 5 for scale to show just how tiny those ants are! Great flowing sediment, too! Hugs, Darnell
These are both so cute but that little ant-cupcake army is too funny! I bet your great nephew thought it was the greatest thing!
Both of these are SO adorable! The tiny cupcake looks so precious framed by those wonderful patterns and textures. And I love everything about your little ant crew--perfect design and sentiment!!
You made that sweet little cupcake look totally different on these cards!! The first is charming. The only problem with the second one is that I'm going to be singing "the ants go marching..." all day!
Oh my goodness, that little cupcake is adorable on its own but paired with those little ants, it has double the cuteness. Such fun cards!
Oh my word--you are the perfect GD, Lisa! 2 fabulous cards! Love the dry embossing which does match the pp! The card for the 5 yr old is just over the top!
Super CUTE! I especially LOVE the ants with the cupcakes in the wagons!
The notecard is gorgeous and I love the way the embossed flowers echo the designer paper but the ants pulling wagons of cupcakes is pure genius Lisa! You are quite right - there is NO 5-year old, or any other age person for that matter, that wouldn't be bowled over by this! Vicky x
Such a sweet little solo cupcake, Lisa ... beautifully framed with the pretty pp and delicious texture! Fantastic birthday card ... those little ants towing their wagons full of yumminess are just so cute ... who couldn't love this card, regardless of age! Delighted to have you Guest Designing with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
Yay for guest designing and I love the different uses of the cupcake!
