Unforgettable!

Hey there! What a wild ride we've had. We had a bad thunderstorm late Wednesday night. I was awakened at midnight by a text from our son asking if we were in the basement, then the tornado sirens went off. None of that lasted very long and everyone is safe, no damage. But our power went out at that moment and stayed off for 20 hours! Luckily it was 70 outside. Today we woke to 39 degrees and snow... yes snow... giant flakes!! Sheesh!!

Here we are on the other side of it all and I have a cute pair of pint sized pachyderms for The Paper Players challenge.

LeAnne has given us {A Day at the Zoo} theme this week. After watching a movie a couple of nights ago (Water for Elephants), I remembered this cute Wplus9 set. I've framed this darling pair in some stitched photo frames. The paper is one I remember buying at Archivers years ago. Simple and sweet!

Thanks for stopping by!

The elephants are absolutely darling, Lisa and I love how you framed them up with that pretty paper. The gems look nice around the edge and the sentiment is just perfect! Thanks so much for joining The Paper Player's this week!

Adorable pachyderms, if I say so myself! Such a sweet card, and I love that photo frame -- something I wish I'd purchased and still haven't...

On the other hand, I'm so glad you're ok, everybody else AND things!

That elephant is so cute, Lisa, and I haven't used mine in quite a while. Thanks for inspiring me to bring him out to play. I love the two different views in the photo frames.

This card is absolutely precious Lisa! I'm glad you guys are safe and your power has been restored. I live in the Midwest too and know how crazy the weather can be. I had my A/C on yesterday and woke up to a 39 degree house. So, the heat is back on. Fun!

A little bit of bipolar weather in your neck of the woods, too, huh? I'm glad you're safe from the twister.
But... CAN. WE. TALK. about this adorable card?! Awwww you framed those ellies up just perfectly. You're always so good at making the cutest things.

I'm so glad to hear you're all safe and well. We had that crazy weather here too but thankfully didn't lose our power, though other parts around us did. Anyway, your card is adorable and I love seeing those delightful elephants again. Makes me think I should be pulling mine out as well and giving them some love. Have a blessed Easter my friend.
