Oh Happy Day!

Just Us Girls has a color challenge this week. When I saw it I had a stamp pop into my mind. I put this little number together for my dad's birthday later this summer.

The man loves his westerns! When I call and ask what he's up to, he'll say just watching Gunsmoke or just watching Bonanza! I had Little Joe Cartwright's horse in mind when I made this card, a painted pony. I think his horse had darker spots, but I needed it to fall into the kraft color category. This little fella is by Magenta and I think he's adorable! He's stamped with kraft ink and I added his markings with a Copic marker. The rocky patch is from Stamps by Judith and the sentiment is Precious Remembrance Shop.

 Thanks for visiting!

Your Dad sounds like my husband, Lisa. Ken even watches them a second and third time. That little horse is adorable and I love the rocky ground. I'm way behind on commenting with all the moving preparations etc so I'm just stopping hit or miss to see what you've been doing. Hopefully I'll get back on track once we're settled into our new/old place.
