Enjoy the Journey

Here goes nothing... my first post with the new blogger! Actually, it was easier than I thought it would be. Hope it shows up correctly on your end! I've worked on this card in bits and pieces this past week. Virtual kindergarten with Sweet P is going great and she loves it so much, but it keeps me busy!

I put this together for The Card Concept. I was inspired by the sunflowers and the oak table they're sitting on along with the fresh greens and pops of black from the photo. My Carta Bella papers (sentiment too) were layered together with a PFS wreath, PTI sunflowers and patterned leaves (PPP). Lots of layers and clean lines put this in their clean and layered category.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a blessed Sunday!

What a gorgeous use of the PFS wreath, Lisa--almost didn't realize that's what you used! Hope you signed a good teacher contract--haha! How fun to enjoy this part of Sweet P's life! Something good out of a bad situation!

Well done, you!! We were the lucky ones that they worked out all the bugs [thanks to the input from our friends] before we were forced to cave in, right?
Everything looks perfect, and perfectly delightful from where I'm sitting. Speaking of, I wish we were sitting at that gorgeous table right now having breakfast together!

your collage of bits and pieces is a lovely take on the inspiration photo, lisa! doing school from home is very time consuming. i hope that little penelope gets to start going to kindergarten in person real soon. (the kindergarteners in my school district get to start back to in person learning on sept. 28th. unfortunately i have no idea when my 8th grader will get to do that!)
