Inspired By #179 ~ You're One in a Mellon

Let me just start by saying that this girl loves watermelon! I've never had a Rice Krispies watermelon treat, but dang they're cute! This Inspired By photo is one in a melon, isn't it!

The only watermelon stamp I have is a teeny little wedge of melon. So I went in a different direction. Don't you just love these loopy blooms from PTIs Prominent Petals? I used melon colors of pinks and greens along with black polka dots to echo the seeds. I know my melony pink is a bit light, but hey, I was in a mood! And the polka dot frame... come on!!!

Okay, lovelies it's your turn. I'm headed to the grocery store. You better believe watermelon is on my list!

LOve the polka dotty, rind-colored frame for these pretty blooms, Lisa! Your black 'seeds' are such a perfect finishing touch to tie in the black sentiment.
Sweet as any melon I've eaten!

This is so pretty!! I like that you didn't use a watermelon on this card. The polka paper and the flowers are delightful. I even like the little black dots for the seeds. This is BRILLIANT!!

I love how creative you got when you didn't actually have a melon stamp, Lisa. Polka dot frame. Yes! Seed dotted flowers. Right on!

Wonderfully fun and pretty! We might be watermelon rivals, I'm addicted to them in the summer, but you've definitely won the contest with this beauty!

I absolutely LOVE your take on the watermelon pic, and the soft colors you chose work really well. And the polka dots (your fave!) look super cute on here, perfect touch.
