From Our House to Yours

Hey there! I'm popping in today with a quick CAS card for The Paper Players challenge. Take a look...

I don't think this sweet PTI house ever gets old. I jazzed it up today with some bright snippets of paper. My sentiment is an oldie but a goodie by Hero Arts and those teeny blooms are Simply Graphic. Like I said, quick and simple!

Speaking of houses, we had a bat who set him/herslf up a cozy little spot in the loft of our garden shed over the winter. The entire side of a bag of charcoal was shredded into confetti sized bits. Just the colorful part, not the inner brown bag. Go figure? The little rascal had a grand time with our patio furniture cushions and pillows. Stuffing pulled out and bat buisiness all over them. The hubs said the loft is full of bat poo.....blech! Needless to say the shed is getting a good wash down and those cushions went bye bye!

Oh no!!! Bat poo?! Yuck! Sounds more like mice but what do I know? I do know your house is adorable and is a perfect match to the inspiration! Thanks for playing with us!

Darling little house, Lisa, and I love the papers you combined and the sweet hearts! Perfect with the diagonal carpet of flowers!! Ugh - poor you with the bat! At least it wasn't a raccoon like the one that got in a friend's garage and did a number on her convertible with the top down...

Your card is the sweetest, Lisa! I love the angled design, fabulous use of patterns, and darling heart punctuation! I'm so sorry about your unwanted destructive garden shed visitor! Glad he/she didn't fly out and give anyone a heart attack! Hugs, Darnell

Now. About that shed - and it's resident? PLEASE be careful!

So cute with all the patterns, Lisa.
Animals can be so destructive. I would never have thought a bat could do so much damage. We've had a problem with raccoons in the past but they're bigger animals.

That is just the perfect little house die Lisa and combined with your paper snippets and perfectly sized sentiment is pretty as a picture! Bat poo - yuck! We once had a mouse make a nest in a box in our garage - I opened the box to find it had shredded a bright yellow Disney rain poncho and 'eaten' all the fake berries on my Christmas door wreath!! Thanks for sharing your lovely card and animal tales with us over at The Paper Players this week!

When I saw this challenge that I did not have time to play, that little house popped right into my head. I so love the simple and wonderful way you used yours here. Love the colors and the corner placement of your design.
