For You

Hi there! I'm back today with my make for this week's Just Us Girls challenge. Carol is hosting and she's looking for holiday tags. My cards are finished and addressed (can you believe it!), time to move on to those tags!

I went traditional with this one. Another little something for my mom and dad. I make huge batches of homemade caramel corn for the holidays. My mom and dad always get a large tin under their tree. I'll pick out a pretty tin and attach this tag to it!

The tag (PPP) was cut from some patterned paper in my stash (backed with cream cardstock) and topped with SG die cuts. The tiny tag and sentiment are PTI. Fast and simple. Lets hope they all go that way!

On another note, I'm having surgery on my hand next week. Thank you to all of those that have been checking in. Severe arthritis in my thumb/wrist area. I have a great doctor that has tried everything else for me. Unfortunately the conservative route has not worked, so this is where we're at.

Christmas cards and DT assignments are finished, so I'll have things to post here as I recuperate. Sweet P turns 8 soon. Her card is ready and her gifts are wrapped... I'm on a roll! I'll stop by for visits as my one handed typing allows!

Once again, I'm wishing we were in the same neighborhood - for that caramel corn and to help Shawn take care of you! All the best wishes for success with your surgery, and healing prayers, too! x

I love all the elements on your sweet tag, Lisa. Pending surgery really forces us to get things done doesn't it. My cards are all done and addressed too. Praying that your thumb surgery went as smoothly as mine did.

First of all, good luck with your surgery, Lisa! I'll be following along as I'm having the same issues, but mine are thankfully just starting. It's so painful, so I'm glad you are getting it fixed! Good job getting all your cards done and addressed and even some blogging posts for us. Your tag is a layered delight! I've enjoyed catching up ... sorry I've been so absent. Hugs, Darnell

I thought I was doing well to have my Thanksgiving cards ready to go...great job on getting the Christmas cards done, and ready to go. This tag is so darling. I rarely make tags, but I think I will make a few this year. I am kinda in the mood for them, and yours is quite inspiring.
