I received a Galentine from my sweet friend Greta yesterday with a pretty embossed panel enclosed. The color was perfect for this week's challenge at The Paper Players. Thanks, Greta, you helped to make this card a quick one!
The pretty EF Greta used was calling for butterflies. This darling pair by Simply Graphic were just the right size. I punched some teeny tiny polka dots for their wings from the trimmings of the floral panel. A simple sentiment finished things off nicely. I don't need a symapthy card, thank goodness, but have one ready now for when that time comes.
Happy Valentine's Day friends!
Thanks for visiting!

gorgeous embossed background ♥
What a sweet card -- butterflies are great for a Sympathy card too
I love that Greta sends along an embossed panel to protect her card and a little extra recipients can reuse. Lovely card with the colors, Lisa.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Lisa and you gotta love a card that comes together this easily! (YAY Greta!!) Glad to hear you don't need this card right now, but always good to have one on hand and a beautiful one at that! Hugs. :0)
And it's lovely, Lisa! Great idea to send an embossed panel to protect the card. Also, I love the idea of 'Galentine's Day' and received a digital one from a friend yesterday. Thanks for playing with us at The Paper Players. Xoxo, Fran

Glad I picked the right color cardstock to emboss with that gorgeous Altenew rose ef--haha! You certainly made good use of it, Lisa--even polka dots from it for the adorable butterflies! You're always so creative & this turned out to be the perfect sympathy card!
I agree, that background was perfectly for those pretty diecut butterflies! The whole thing is perfect for our colors too! Always nice to have a sympathy card on hand!
What a pretty card. Those butterflies are sweet against the embossed background. Glad it's not needed and you could enjoy just making it.
What a gorgeous EF and sweet galentine! These gentle colors are sure to bring comfort when needed, Lisa. Such a pretty was to send condolences.

Beautiful sympathy card, Lisa. That embossed panel is the perfect background for the sweet butterflies.
What a great way to repurpose that embossed panel Lisa - too good not to make it a feature in its own right and those teeny tiny butterflies are just enough extra detail whilst still allowing it to shine. Great card! Thanks for playing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
