Happy Spring!

Happy spring! What better way to say goodbye to winter than with a bouquet of flowers! I'll be sending this little bunch over to the Color Hues gallery where my sweet friend, Marcia is looking for blue and turquoise.

I pulled out several Simply Graphic dies to cretae my bouquet. This flower wrap always makes me smile! Cutting it from plaid paper just adds to it's cuteness! Turquoise is a funny color for me. Is it more blue or more green? I used SU's Tempting Turqoise to die cut a couple of those flowers. It's in the name, so I guess I couldn't go wrong! The round scalloped edge blooms were cut from light blue paper with a little Copic coloring added to their centers. A Lawn Fawn cover plate went onto my card base before popping on my spring bouquet and a few rhinestones.

That's it from me today. Thanks so much for visiting!

This card is just as sweet as can be Lisa!! That posy wrap always makes me smile too, and filled with your blue & turquoise flowers makes smile even more! You've also reminded me that I have that cover plate die you used for your background, and mine hasn't seen any love in a looooooong time...thanks for reminding me! And thanks so much for sharing this delightful posy card with us at The Color Hues Challenge...we love seeing you in the gallery!! Hugs. :0)

A plaid posy wrap is the perfect place for your darling flowers, Lisa. I too have that background die that I haven't used in a while. Be prepared to see it popping up.

Lisa, I am not sure which is more adorable...the wrap, the bow, or perhaps just the entire card. I love that the greeting is sticking out of the bouquet too! Happy to see you in the gallery at Color Hues, thanks for playing!

I love the shade of blue you chose to go with that wonderful turquoise in your wrap full of posies. That background was a perfect choice to compliment your bouquet. Love it.
