Hello and welcome! It's color week at Just Us Girls where Vicki has a fun trio for us ~ blue, purple and light gray. We also have a new guest designer joining us today. TK of Time 4 Kards will be sharing her cards for the month of June! Welcome TK!
Determined to use some of my older stamp sets, I went way back and pulled out Beautiful Blooms II from PTI. After inking up and die cutting a few flowers, I arranged them on a light gray stitched panel. Next came a sentiment from The Stamp Market, stamped and heat embossed. It still needed just a little some-something so I added a few polka dots and dew drops.
Not go to colors for me, but I think I made them work and I had fun! We hope you'll join in the fun this week and add your card to our gallery!

YAY to you for using some of your older sets Lisa!! I have SO many PTI sets that haven't seen ink in years and I keep telling myself I need to use them as they are still really beautiful sets, just like this one you used! The color combo is not one I would have thought of either, but it works and I really like it on your card! Love the addition of the polka dots and sequins too! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! I am working on cataloging my PTI stash and re-discovering so many wonderful sets. I love this one. this is a great way to use the challenge colors. I love the way you placed the dew drops on the outer edges of the polka dots. This is a lovely composition, Lisa!
I've been trying to use older stamps too, Lisa. I have a lot of PTI but not the one you used. It worked beautifully with the challenge colors and I love the added polka dots and dew drops. So you.

Pretty, sweet, and simple, and hooray for bringing out some older flowers! Beautifully arranged with perfect balance. It is oftentimes the smallest thing that grabs me, and in this case it's the dots with the dew drops offset. I just love that!
I love that you pulled out an older set, they need love, too! This is a real beauty with those big, bold blooms.
