Hello

It's word week at Just Us Girls where Ina is hosting for us! How does hello inspire you? Adele in your head... anyone??!!

I picked up some sale goodies from the Stamp Market recently. I thought they made a lovely background for my Mama Elephant hello die cut. After die cutting with the word window die, I embossed the panel with the eucalyptus then added the stamped and die cut eucalyptus pieces. My shaker elements contain some itty bitty punched pieces from the scraps of gray used on the hello. The finishing touch was a trio of layered butterflies. That Martha Stewart punch never grows old!

I hope I've inspired you to join us this week. There are so many ways to say hello and for so many occasions. Join me as I check out what our guest designer, TK and the team have to share!

Hi Lisa. I bought the Eucalyptus stamps, dies and EF recently too, but have not played with them yet. I love the way you used them here. Love your wonderful color scheme, and who doesn't love a shaker. Fabulous take on "hello".

This is so pretty, Lisa. Shaker cards are always fun to make, fun to give and fun receive. The simple touch of green is calming and peaceful. The trio of butterflies is sweet too!

So many great textural elements on your card Lisa! The embossed background and shaker, then the die cut leaves and those dainty butterflies! I really love the style of that Hello die! It has such a nice soft swirl to it and everything else on the card just focuses around it! Great card!!!

Gorgeous shaker card Lisa! Love the combination of the embossing with matching die-cut. And I love your creative way of adding little pops of colour, with the majority of the card remaining white. Beautifully artistic, Lisa! xx

That word window die is perfect for both a sentiment and a shaker, Lisa. The dimension of the embossed eucalyptus is fabulous and works beautifully with the green die cut ones.
