A Little Something For You

Snowed in? We have snow, but there was plenty of sunshine to go with it today! It was a good day to get a some crafting in. I put this little number together for the Color Hues challenge where they're looking for copper and green.

I started with a cute little PPP tag cut from copper paper. A pre-foiled sentiment went on next along with a partial circle cut from copper and white paper. All of these items were in a paper pad gifted to me long ago. Next came all of the fun little sprigs and flowers. I guess they're flowers, who knows! Everything came along with my Switch machine with the exception of the pierced leaves. They're by Simply Graphic. The pretty embossed background was a gift from sweet Michele (thanks again xo)!

Off this goes to the gallery.

Thanks for taking the time for a visit!

Lisa, you've captured their colors in the prettiest of ways! [So good to see that embossing - maybe I'll use it, too!] x

How pretty is this, Lisa! I have also decided that you must have a vast array of Embossing Folders. I really love this one, especially. Love the pattern on the leaves too. Thanks for playing along at Color Hues. Hope the temps level off and you can warm up a bit. Our sun is supposed to come out this Wednesday! Can't wait.

What a great and fun way to use copper and green! Love that background and all the little elements you added to your design. That bit of gingham is so perfect. I am very curious as to what a Switch machine is. When I googled, it was all about railroads! LOL

I love the look of this, Lisa! It's a fun juxtaposition of parts that all came together in such a fun manner... with a lot of help from you, of course. The embossing is pretty in the background. Just enough added texture and does not interfere. You have a great eye!
