Merry Christmas

Happy November! I have to say it doesn't feel like November 1st. We've had some gorgeous weather in the 70's. I'll take it! I took a few minutes to put together a card for the Color Throwdown challenge. I've used their autumn colors to make a Christmas card.

Another of those pretty little Poppystamps Nordic dies came out to play for this one. I've dressed the Nordic Regal Deer in terra cotta plaid and mustard for today's outing My frame, by Pinkfresh, was cut twice. Once in plaid and then again in white. The little leafy sprigs are from the deer die set and the sentiment banner is Memory Box. Everything was added to a terra cotta card base.

It's a different Christmas color combination for me, but I think it works. My hubby thought so and I hope you do too!

I agree, Lisa, it definitely works! I love seeing Christmas cards in non-traditional colors, but this is the first year I remember seeing so many done up in autumn colors and I think they are beautiful, especially when there is a sweater-wearing prancing deer included! Hugs, Darnell
