Joyful Wishes

Don't you like it when you've created a card and then a challenge pops up that it fits right into? That was the case for me when I saw Stef's sketch at The Paper Players. Hot dog!

I had created two cards using the gifted Memory Box Good Cheer set that was released for the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember event. This second one worked out perfectly for the sketch. MB patterned paper was cut into a rectangle then die cut with a Poppystamps Scallop Pinpoint Circle in the center. A few circles were cut and layered for snowy hills. Poppystamps has a new Nordic Winter Magic release and this sweet Scalloped Pinpoint Frame is among the items in the shop. The outer frame was just the right size for the rectangle I had cut. Doesn't my penguin look cute decorating his tiny tree!

Thanks for giving me a place to show off this little cutie, Stef!

Lisa, it was kismet that my sketch challenge occurred at just the right time! I adore that cute penguin and the wonderful little scene you created for him. The sparkle on his hat and the star make it all the more festive. Thank you so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players!

Absolutely adorable card, Lisa! Gotta love it when you make a card that you haven't shared yet and a challenge pops up that fits it perfectly.

Cutie indeed! He looks quite joyful topping off his Christmas tree, even if he is nearly 3 months early! I mean, who doesn't want to celebrate Christmas longer?! He's definitely adorable, and it's a cute card, Lisa

He certainly does look cute decorating that little Christmas tree! I love the nordic sweater background paper you used to cozy up this cold winter scene. The sparkle on his hat, hills and star really snazzes this up!

I saw this and wanted to go, awwww! This is just so adorable. I like that blue paper - suitably ice - along with the pop of red. But the truly fabulous part is the wee tree with the penguin about to put the star on top. Very clever thinking by you! Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Paper Players.
