Just Us Girls #811

Hello and welcome! I'm hosting our Photo/Mood Board challenge at Just Us Girls this week. I found this pretty photo on Pinterest. I tell ya, that cup of hot chocolate is calling my name! No marshmallows for me though. But I do like to spray on the Reddi-Whip and stir it in! See that pretty branch of blooms? We have two of those flowering cherry trees in our backyard. I just love the delicate pink blooms!

I think you can see where I was going here with the cup and the blooms. My sweet mug of hot chocolate is by Poppystamps ~ Nordic Cozy Cocoa. It was cut from patterned paper in my stash. The whipped cream was made with a glittered cardstock. My polka dot mug is a nod the the bokeh you see in the window!

Speaking of windows, I used a retired Gothic window by Poppystamps. I cut the window from woodgrain paper to pick up the table in the photo and backed it with vellum. It's decorated with retired blooms. I layered them up to resemble the cherry blossoms. This embossed background was a panel my sweet friend Greta sent me. I thought it grounded my scene perfectly!

I hope to find your card in our gallery this week. Just pick from the photo what inspire you and get crafty!

When I looked at that mug in the inspiration photo I thought it's too pretty to drink! Then I see your pretty pink mug and I think the same thing, sigh. Love the flowers you adorned your window scene with, and the embossing in the background. I love a window die. So pretty all over, Lisa!

Everything about your mood board is so delightfully delicious Lisa. Your card is amazing in every way with the background dies and pretty flowers not to mention that cup of hot chocolate with cream on top. I would have to have pink marshmallows on mine with real cream. You gave us the most delightful mood board to play with. Thanks.
