Hi friends! I can't believe we're at the end of another month. January is going out in frozen fashion here in Ohio ~ brrr!!! It's also going out with a bit of Asian flair here on my blog. It's 12 Kits of Occasions time and our hostess Jeanne sent out a fabulous kit she's calling {Good Fortune}. It was filled with oodles of pretty papers and Asian themed images. You can find the complete list on the 12 Kits blog Monthly Kit Supplies page. We also have several special guest joining us this month!

Let's get started!

This one is layered up in Jeanne fashion, she's so good at it!
I added my own glitter paper and sentiment on this one.

I went back and forth on how to highlight this pretty kimono die cut. I finally decided to give it a shimmery gold background and frame it out with florals. My sentiment is from PRS.

This one, well, it just makes me happy! I can just imagine standing on that little bridge surrounded by all of those gorgeous blossoms. What a joy that would be!

These little ladies are just as sweet as they can be! I tucked them into a PPP Mini Storybook die cut.

That does it for me today.
I'm off to make my rounds to the girls blogs.
I hope you're staying warm. Take care friends!

Wish you could hear me oohing and ahhing here Lisa! Your layering on the first card with the koi.. I love the silver glitter peeking out and the clean white pagoda.. GORGEOUS! The gold background for the kimono is elegant, the white landscape on the black cardstock is so elegant.. it pairs beautifully with the cherry blossom paper. And then you go cute on me with the little geisha girls! They are so sweet on the storybook cut paper with the doll paper in the background ! Adorable! Love your style!

Look at all these lovely cards! It's so fun to see all the different ways you talented designers use the items included in the kit. The koi paper is so pretty on your pagoda card. I like the texture with the background piece. Your kimono is the star of the show on your next card. I really like the frame around it. Your cherry blossom card is just beautiful. Great use of the paper and the die! Wow!! I adore how you colored the sweet geisha girls and the fun angle of the die cut. You are so talented! :)

Oh Lisa, these are so wonderful and make my heart happy! Your layering on the first card is done to perfection. The colors, the design, it is totally gorgeous. I love the way you let the cherry blossom paper share the spot light with the tea garden die too. Yes, I can just imagine standing on that bridge oohing and aahing over the beauty. Your little kimono girls are totally adorable tucked in to that storybook die. I'm so glad I still have that pp to use on another card. I didn't have the heart to cut it and knew I'd be inspired along the way. Great, great work my friend!

Each card is my favorite, Lisa! The pink embossed paper paired with silver and the koi is gorgeous! The gold creates a regal kimono, and those cherry blossoms are just what I would want to see walking through that garden! Your lovely girls pair perfectly with their friends in the patterned paper, and each shows off her little accessory with shimmery style! Stay warm today, my friend!

Every card is so beautifully done! I could never pick a favorite. Love how you used the patterned papers. I especially like how you layered the koi design behind the pagoda, so pretty with the pink and silver frame. And the kimono looks stunning against the gold. I too can imagine standing on the bridge enjoying the lovely blossoms! And the little girls in the storybook frame are just perfect with that background paper. That is such a delightful design!

Your layerings are just FABULOUS Lisa! The SHIMMER of gold underneath the kimono die is STUNNING. Your bridge is lovely with the cherry blossom background. The little geishas, they top the cake with the fun "peeking" from the sweet die. I might have to "CASE" part of this design, I ADORE it so much! Thanks for letting me "hang" out with the gang this month! I had so much fun. ---HUGS Lisa!'---Kimberly
