Guesting at Twofer!

Hello and welcome! I'm super excited to be a guest designer with the fabulous Twofer Card Challenge design team! What a fun challenge this month too... it's {trees}! Sooooo many possibilities.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I happen to have a favorite tree stamp in my stash that I've had for many years. It's by Memory Box. Here's card #1 using this pretty row of Linden trees!
I stamped the trees and sentiment (SU) in kraft ink then gave a light wash of color with my Copics. The sweet little church is a PTI die cut.
Those tree tops have become a caterpillar on card #2! Isn't she fun? She's hanging out in the strawberry patch. A little selective inking was done for her head then I drew the antenna. I added black rhinestones too. The sentiment is on oldie by SU. I love how whimsical this card is. Hubby liked it too!
Thanks ever so much for stopping by today. And a big thank you to Darnell for having me as her guest! The Twofer challenge runs through the 24th so you have lots of time to put that thinking cap on and join us!
This is a great tree stamp and these cards are great. I love the trees gently going into their fall colors on the first card. You nailed it with the darling caterpillar! Oh my gosh, that is the cutest card and a terrific way to use that stamp.
Thank you for being one of our Guest Designers this month, Lisa! What a fabulous Twofer you have created for us using the TREES prompt! I love your somber sympathy cards and the softly washed scene of linden trees with a die cut church in the foreground. And then you were able to go completely whimsical with your second creative design by turning that row of trees into an adorable caterpillar in a strawberry patch! It just makes me giggle like a Sweet Pea!! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell
Oh my goodness Lisa, I love those puffy trees with the sweet lil church in front, a lovely scene. I chuckled seeing your fluffy caterpillar...what a brillant use for an unconventional use of the stamp. Thanks so much for guest designing with us!
I can see why that is a favorite stamp, Lisa. It's the perfect size to go with that little PTI church, and I love the soft coloring that goes along with the condolences. Now how did you come up with that super fun caterpillar! Great eye, Lisa! I love how your sentiment curves along with him. Thank you so much for guest designing with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
What a brilliant twofer with that lovely line-of-trees image, Lisa! Your soft Copic colouring on your first card creates such a calm, serene look, perfect for a condolence message ... and I love the tiny church in the foreground! How cute and clever is that sweet strawberry patch caterpillar ... such a fun, unconventional use of the trees ... and the added doodled detailing is fabulous! Thanks so much for inspiring our players as our Guest Designer at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
When they say two 'different' cards you really took it to heart, Lisa. The soft colors and the little church are fantastic for a sympathy card and what creative genius to turn them into a caterpillar. You've done yourself proud as a guest designer.
Oh my goodness--you're amazing, Lisa! I adore the sympathy card--simply beautiful! Would never have thought to make a caterpillar from the trees--so much fun!
Lisa, it's easy to see why this Linden tree stamp is a favorite. I'm loving this sweet row of trees! It makes a really pretty sympathy card. And your church die reminds me of my little church here in town, too! Beautiful Copic coloring, too. And a caterpillar??!! How very clever is that?!!! What a great idea! Love the look of this sweet card - it's so very happy all dressed in those pinks, greens, and reds. Two great cards, and thank you so much for being a Guest Designer this month at The Twofer Challenge! Stay safe, Bev
My goodness, how clever!! I would have never thought to try these as a caterpillar! And I have to say, of all trees, Linden are amongst my favorite (they have a very special place in Croatian culture). I love their smell, and as a kiddo, I loved spending time preserving the flowers with my grandma, to make yummy tea in colder months. A wonderful trip down memory lane, thank you for that, sweet friend!
Your caterpillar card is hilarious! I have given up most of my strawberry patch because of critters. Makes me laugh!
