Sending Hugs & Happy Thoughts

Hi friends! I'm playing along with The Paper Players tonight using a new to me die gifted from a sweet blogging friend. Take a look...

Aren't these Winnie and Walter flowers cute! I've layered them up with their leaves, vellum leaves and a sentiment banner. The butterflies were a last minute addition. Hindsight, I would have left them off. My thought was to balance out the color of the heat embossed sentiment. Oh well...  next time!

Thanks for visiting!

Lisa, your card is soft and lovely. Your shaded background layer is perfect and the butterflies were a good choice. They do balance the color in the sentiment and they actually balance all of your elements. Beautiful card! Thank you for joining us at the Paper Players this week.

Pretty and delicate! I happen to love the butterflies to balance the bold on the sentiment, but honestly it works either way!

Hi Lisa! What a delight to come back from vacation and play catch up on your blog. You've had lots of adorable inspiration while I was away. The cards you made for your twin great nephews are darling! And this card with the sweet polka dotted flowers is soft and feminine. Crafty friends are the best! Enjoy your new dies.
