Hello Friend

Would you look at that pretty spring plaid! When I dug into my plethora of patterned papers, I had one that was a very close match! This is my card for our Just Us Girls Wild Card Week. Take a look...

When I stared making this card, I was thinking to myself "Oh boy, I don't know about this one." But by the time I had finished it I was thinking "Oh, I like this one!" Later that evening, I prepared myself for the response I expected from my hubby. You see, the man does not like plaid. When I turned the card around, I saw this pleased look on his face and he actually liked it! I think he was as shocked as I was!

The mini slimline dies create a few pieces when cut. I used one to frame more of that cute plaid paper. This card is smaller ~ a teeny mini slimline! I colored and popped on a sweet POD bunny that my friend Marcia sent me. Yes, he liked this one too!

These are the supplies I used: Pretty Pink Posh Wild Rose stamps & dies, Pinkfresh Studio Mini Slimline dies & sentiment. Purple Onion Designs - Chloe

Thanks for popping in!

Let's go check out what the DT has to share!

I laughed at your post today, Lisa! I was going to be disappointed if hubby didn't like it. It came out so well and I wish I had thought of it. Your second card is as cute as can be too! Way to hit this challenge out of the park!

Those plaid flowers are adorable, Lisa. I love the gem centers. The remnant pieces made a great background for the darling little bunny.

Both cards are fabulous Lisa! I don't know if it's the colorful plaid pattern or just your sweet eye for design, but these are fun! Fun! Looks like I've missed quite a few of your beautiful makes. Just played "catch-up" on your blog. I like your style!! Hope you're keeping warm.

LOVE, love, LOVE, Lisa! What a fantastic idea to stamp on the patterned paper, because it's no surprise to me that it turned out fabulous. Your leftovers made a pretty card as well, so great when we get to use those right away
