Easter Blessings

It's 72 degrees, sunny and I'm loving it!  I know it's fleeting, but I'll take it when I can get it!

Playing here and there when my hand cooperates. Thank you to those who left well wishes here and via email. I have an appointment with a hand specialist next week. Right now I know there are two cysts accompanied by pain in other areas. Too much use brings on swelling. Not what a card maker wants, right? Anyway, you came here for a card!

This is my first try with this pretty Altenew 3D embossing folder. I did some soft coloring with a waterbrush and watercolor pencils. I'm not thrilled with it, but it's not horrible either!!

Off we go to The Paper Players gallery. Thanks for stopping by!

I missed that you were having problems with your hand. I’m sorry to hear that makes it tough when you’re a card creator! I’m hoping you get that straightened out very soon. Meanwhile your card today is pretty with the light coloring of the yellow

This is everything an Easter card should be! Those lilies look so real, Lisa! I'm sorry to hear that you are having such pain in your hand and I pray the specialist is able to fix you up without too much difficulty or time away from what you love doing. Hugs, Darnell

What a beautiful embossing folder Lisa - the addition of soft colour really shows it off to great effect. So sorry to hear about your hand troubles - time to lay off the housework and save yourself for card making when the pain allows methinks! Hope it eases soon. Thanks for playing with my colour challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

I think your card turned out lovely, Lisa! The soft colors are just perfect. I hope you get some relief on your hand soon. Get outside and enjoy that sunshine instead. I hope it lasts. We're supposed to get temp's in the 60's today. I can't wait to get outside and enjoy it while its here.

Oh I can empathize with the hand pain. I hoe you get lasting relief. Your card is fabulous. I love the extra bits of yellow that reminds me of escaped pollen. Lilly pollen is tough to escape.

I must have missed the post about your hand, Lisa, or else I forgot. At my age that happens a lot. ;) I hope yu can get it resolved. I know when I had thumb joint surgery a few years ago I had to get all my cards made ahead of time. Now I'm having trouble with the left one so I'll be seeing my hand specialist when I get back in Michigan.
I think the card is lovely and great for Easter.
