Love

Hey there! I have a card for you today that's been four days in the making! Stamped on day one, coloring of one bloom and the leaves on day two, the other flowers on day three, ending with the stenciling and assembly today ~ day four. All done while wearing the wrist brace ~ ta-dah! I refuse to let this thing get the best of me!

I needed an anniversary card and liked The Flower Challenge idea of adding a heart to the flowers. I added a few! These pretty Fairy Roses by Impression Obsession were Copic colored. I stenciled on a few hearts then added the love die cut sentiment (also IO). A sprinkling of dew drops and a black for the finish.

Off this goes to the gallery. Thanks ever so much for stopping by!

Such a beautiful card, Lisa! I love those soft florals and the scattering of stenciled hearts is perfect for the challenge. I'm so sorry you're needing a wrist brace, I hope your recovery is swift! In the meantime, your slow but sure progress has not hindered you from making something lovely! Thanks for sharing with us at the Flower Challenge!

Take care!

Your card is gorgeous, Lisa. Your coloring is so soft and lovely. I love the addition of those little hearts and the dew drops are the perfect embellishment. For some reason I wanted to look to see what the first challenge recognition I ever had - it was in 2012. You left a sweet comment on my blog post for that card. Made me smile. Thank you, 10 years later...

I feel your pain, Lisa, Literally. I take it the injection didn't help much but I'm glad the brace works for you. I have an appointment for one in mid-June. Meanwhile ibuprophen is my friend. lol
You did well working with the brace and taking it slow. Such a beautiful bunch of roses, well colored. Thanks for sharing your card with us at The Flower Challenge.

Such a gorgeous card Lisa! Love those big, beautiful blooms and how you worked the hearts into the background. That wrist brace doesn't seem to be hindering your card making. Your cards look just as beautiful and pulled together as they always do!
