Thinking of You

Hello lovelies! I'm getting back into the swing of things after vacation. Our son planned a family trip to resort in Mexico! The days were filled with sunshine, snorkeling, lounging in the pool for hours on end, a variety of entertainment shows, smiles, laughter and endless amounts of food! There was a little boy at poolside lunch one day, maybe 3 years old, who wanted to give Sweet P a flower! He was too shy to do it, so his dad gave it to her for him.

You came here for a card though, so I better get to it! Elizabeth is hosting CAS week for us at Just Us Girls. We're also saying farewell to this month's guest designer. Thanks for joining us, TK, we loved having you!

My sweet friend, Michele sent me a few Pinkfresh Washi die cuts to play with and they were just what I needed for my quick CAS card. I did a little stenciling in the background then layered them on with a Poppystamps foiled sentiment. Those bright blooms, die cuts and CAS work for this week's Tic Tac Toe challenge!

I hope I've inspired you to play along this week!

Very sweet! I love how the washi does the heavy lifting, but your background stenciling and foiled sentiment worked just as hard. So glad you had a fun time in Mexico. Sweet "P" is growing up!!

That beautiful flower was meant for Sweet P in her shirt of the same color! How sweet!
Those die-cut washi flowers seemed to be meant for this very card, Lisa! I'm loving the subtle stenciling in yellow that draws out the yellow in the flower clusters - well done you!

Your Sweet P is adorable and how sweet the story of her 'shy' admirer. He chose a wonderful flower for her! Your trip sounds amazing.
